The Koning Willem I College started to implement the SDG’s in teaching building & achitecture.

At the Koning Willem I College the whole teachers team of building, architecture and urban design attended a training in the SDG’s. The department decided which SDG’s are the most important, looked at the relationship in between each SDG an the lessons, filled in a questionnaire and decided what should be implemented in the team plans of next year.

All the students of architecture were trained in exploring the relationship in between the SDG’s and architecture. Every SDG was discussed. They also learned the three trias transition rules. 1. Not or less. 2. Renewable 3. As long as possible.
They had to write a paper on this subject of 600 words and had to implement the SDG’s in their new task to design a house for themselves.
